Players in Ontario who use Betsson's Betsafe brand are now safeguarded by Neccton software.
Mentor aims to protect players from harm, with checks for a variety of potential flags on player behaviour such as a significant increase in deposit frequency.
The programme makes direct communication with the player and notifies the operator of any problem that requires action.
The software's anti-money laundering (AML) module, which complies with European regulations as well as those of Ontario and other international jurisdictions, is also used by Betsson Group. The Neccton rule engine can be customised by an individual customer's AML or RG officers and comes preconfigured for each distinct market.
It also includes modules for fraud and CRM.
Dr. Michael Auer, Director and Head of Development for Neccton, used his study to build Mentor.
Dr Auer welcomed Betsson and said: “We are delighted to welcome a customer of this calibre into our family!"
Marina Bogard, Betsson Group’s Managing Director for North America, said: “Betsson takes Anti-Money Laundering and Responsible Gaming very seriously and we are committed to providing the safest and most efficient platform and experience for our players.
“We are delighted to be working with Neccton’s innovative solutions to be able to provide our players added confidence in betting and gameplay.”
