Genius Sports is a sports data and technology supplier that provides data management, video streaming and integrity services to bookmakers and sports leagues.
Kay will be appointed as the Independent Director of the Board. He will also take the role of chair of the Audit Committee, where he will succeed Harry You. You will go on to serve as a member of the Board’s Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
Kay has over 30 years of experience as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for numerous global and Fortune 500 companies.
Most recently, Kay has served as CFO for MGM Holdings, as well as being on the Audit Committee and Chair of Compensation Committee for Summit Hotel Properties.

Michael Messara will be appointed as an independent observer of the Board. He is the Co-Chief Investment Officer at Caledonia, a long-term shareholder in Genius.
He worked as an analyst in equity research at UBS AG before joining Caledonia in 2006. Messara also holds a position as a Non-Executive Director at Arrowfield Pastoral Company.
