EveryMatrix awarded supplier licence for Sweden

EveryMatrix, a B2B iGaming software provider, will be able to supply its online gaming software to the Swedish market after being granted the necessary accreditation.

Online gross gaming revenue from the Swedish market was worth SEK 17.1bn ($1.6bn) for 2022.

Although the Enhanced Game Regulation Bill has not yet been passed by Swedish Parliament, applications for the new gambling licenses were opened on 1 March.

If the bill passes, licences will be required for all suppliers providing software to operators licensed in Sweden from 1 July.

With the licence, EveryMatrix will be able to offer its modular and API iGaming solutions, content and services to operators in the Swedish industry for five years before it needs to be renewed.

Ebbe Groes, CEO, EveryMatrix, said: “I’m delighted EveryMatrix has become one of the first providers to be licensed in Sweden under new requirements and well ahead of the deadline.

“This will further safeguard brands and their players with regulated products and services and enable us to offer our game-changing technology that is proven to significantly boost player experience and operator revenues.

“We have identified significant growth opportunities in Sweden, and we are now perfectly positioned to accelerate our growth plans there.”

Spelinspektionen has stated five providers have been awarded supplier licences ahead of the deadline.

These include EveryMatrix, Arland Gesellschaft Fur Informationstechnologie and Hacksaw.

A further 60 applications for supplier licences have been submitted, each with the required SEK 120,000 permission for gaming software fee.
