Australian gambling company Tabcorp has formed a partnership with Mindway AI and will use AI technology to implement upgrades to its responsible gambling capabilities.

Tabcorp will look to benefit from the added capabilities Mindway has to offer, using AI technology as the new upgrades look to keep customers safe. Mindway AI will also help Tabcorp intercept and assist with potential problem gamblers at an earlier stage than has been previously capable.

Tabcorp operates across digital channels and in retail throughout Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory.

Mindway has already implemented customer care software in 20 countries and has 6.5 million active users worldwide per month.

This is the first time Mindway AI has partnered with an Australian gambling company.

Tabcorp COO Jenni Barnett said of the new partnership: “Our collaboration with Mindway AI is a key step forward in our commitment to caring for our customers, reducing harm and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

"This partnership will allow us to use the world’s best technology to better identify and prevent harmful behaviour before it becomes a problem and then implement proactive measures to assist our customers."

The positive reception towards the partnership was echoed by Mindway AI CEO Rasmus Kjaergaard, who said: “Over here at Mindway AI, we are very proud to countTabcorp among our partners and we see great potential in the collaboration to help them enhance their player protection.

"This partnership is part of our global growth, and it marks that by entering a new continent.”
