Asia bulletin: Genius Sports announces new partnership with Chinese Taipei Football Association
English Premier League’s official data and integrity partner Genius Sports will be assisting CTFA to safeguard against betting-related corruption.
Genius Sports has announced a new long-term data and streaming partnership with the Chinese Taipei Football Association (CTFA).
This partnership will give Genius Sports exclusive rights to license and distribute official live data and streaming content from the CTFA, which includes the CTFA’s premier competitions such as: the Taiwan Football Premier League (TFPL), Taiwan Mulan Football League (TMFL) and Taiwan Football League 2nd Division.
Across the CTFA’s premier competitions, Genius Sports has been granted exclusive official data and streaming rights. Genius Sports will provide the CTFA with the FIFA Competition Management System (built by Genius Sports) alongside its integrity services to safeguard the CTFA against betting-related corruption.
Genius Sports is the English Premier League’s official data and integrity partner, which safeguards professional football from the threat of match-fixing; services it will be providing to the CTFA.
Genius Sports will also provide the CTFA with sports data insights and technology, and assist the CTFA in commercialising its sports data and promoting its streaming content globally.
Deputy General Secretary of CTFA, Mr. Liang-Chen Chen said: “We are happy to enter a four-year agreement with Genius Sports. This is a giant step for us in modernising our domestic leagues and maintaining our sports integrity. With the experience of Genius Sports, we can deliver higher quality content to our fans.”
