Statscore, a Polish-based sports data and statistics company, has been announced as the Official League Statistics Partner for Fortuna 1 Liga, the second division of men’s professional football in Poland.
As the league's current Official Data Provider, Statscore will continue to deliver statistics and data from league matches, and continue to support the pay-per-view model of football matches.
Alongside this, data from Statscore will also be uploaded in real-time to the Fortuna 1 Liga websites and delivered to TV broadcasting partners.
Marcin Janicki, President of Pierwsza Liga Piłkarska, Fortuna 1 Liga, said: “Over the last few years we have built a strong relationship with Statscore and we are thrilled to extend our collaboration through the 2023-24 season.
“Match data provided by Statscore is an integral part of our fan engagement strategy, while Statscore’s technical support in developing a PPV solution to our fans has also been invaluable.”
In November 2022, Statscore was acquired by LSports, a sports data feed and service provider.
This was the first acquisition of a European company for LSports, with Co-Founder and CEO Dotan Lazar stating that he hoped this would lead to additional B2B products and technological developments for both companies.
