The celebratory event, scheduled for 8 December 2023, will feature prominent figures such as Senator Steve Wilson, Representative Adam Mathews and Commissioner Shannon Jones.
Since opening its doors on 13 December 2013, Miami Valley Gaming and Racing has aimed to prioritise community engagement throughout its decade-long journey. The upcoming charitable contributions will elevate MVG's total donations to $4.6m.
Craig Robinson, President and General Manager of MVG, expressed the significance of the 10-year milestone: “10 years is an important landmark for any business and MVG is no exception. We have much to celebrate in terms of our business, our customers, our staff and the community.
"Our goal from the start 10 years ago was, and remains today, to enrich and strengthen the organisations and initiatives that benefit this community we all share. The team here at MVG takes great pride in working with the surrounding communities.”
MVG's charitable contributions will be distributed among various local organisations, including the Lebanon Food Pantry, Warren County Community Services, Inc. (WCCS), United Way of Warren County, Alzheimer’s Association, Humane Association of Warren County, Pink Ribbon Good and Folds of Honor.
With this diverse range of recipients, MVG aims to provide assistance across a range of areas, including food security, community services, health and education.
