London Affiliate Conference (LAC) and Financial Partners Expo (FPE) shows will be moving to ExCeL London from next year, the same home as the ICE Totally Gaming show.
This follows the acquisition of a 75% stake in iGaming Business (iGB), organiser of the three Affiliate Conference shows, by Clarion Events, organiser of ICE, for £19.7m,that was announced as being in its final stages in December.
Over 5,000 delegates will be expected to attend LAC between 9 and 12 February, up 10% from the attendance of 4,455 at this year’s show at Olympia London.
There will actually be a crossover between the two shows, as next year’s ICE will run from 7-9 February, meaning the last day of ICE will coincide with the first day of LAC, though LAC’s opening day will be for early networking as opposed to a day of conferences and exhibiting.
FPE will be co-located with LAC and allows for affiliates to meet with brokers in the retail finance sector.
Shona ODonnell, Head of Operations at iGB, said: “Since 600 delegates gathered for the inaugural event in 2007, LAC has grown exponentially to become the most important date on the global i-gaming affiliate calendar.
“To keep up with demand, we needed a larger venue and the ExCeL in London is a perfect fit. It will be familiar to most in the industry as the home of ICE, and the extra space will allow us to create new feature areas and improve the overall experience for all delegates.”
