Yggdrasil and HungryBear launch real-money multiplayer slot game
After four years as a free-to-play game, SlotMasters has now received regulatory approval for real-money gaming.

Yggdrasil has announced a new development with its YGG Masters partner, HungryBear, as the real-money version of HungryBear’s multiplayer slot product – SlotMasters – has received certification in the UK.
This certification marks the title as one of the first real-money multiplayer slot experiences to become commercially available.
The game will be offered exclusively via Yggdrasil, with plans underway to expand its reach through approvals from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and other jurisdictions.
SlotMasters has already proved successful in its four years as a free-to-play game. The title pits three players against one another in a two-minute battle where they can use various weapons to steal points and out manoeuvre opponents.
The real-money gaming (RMG) version of SlotMasters hopes to build on this formula, adding RMG features to the peer-to-peer format.
Commenting on the game’s development, Yggdrasil’s Commercial Director, Jose Simon, stated: “In addition to HungryBear’s fantastic portfolio of traditional slot games, we’ve always been incredibly excited at the potential for an RMG iteration of SlotMasters.
“We described it as a game-changer when we first shook hands on our partnership, but that’s an even more accurate description now that it has received official certification.
“The scope for it is incredible and marks a new chapter in slots. We’re eager to see how this evolves.”
