Key points:
- Operator bet365 has launched a Non-Runner No Bet (NRNB) offer for the 2025 Grand National
- Horses like Hewick, Inothewayurthinkin and Stumptown are being backed by punters
Ahead of the 2025 Grand National, bet365 is rolling out its ‘Non-Runner No Bet’ (NRNB) offer. The offer, which is available now for Aintree, allows bettors to place wagers with a promise of a refund if their selection doesn’t run.
The Grand National is generating early interest, with Hewick among the horses gaining attention. The 10-year-old, trained by JJ Hanlon, recently won at Thurles and is expected to compete at Aintree in good form.
Inothewayurthinkin and Stumptown, both trained by Gavin Cromwell, are also attracting attention following their victories at Cheltenham. Vanillier, another horse from Cromwell's stable, is also among the most-backed horses in the NRNB market.
The offer went live on 14 March 2025, providing an opportunity to place bets with added security.
Good to know: The 2025 Grand National will take place on Saturday 5 April
Pat Cooney, bet365 racing expert, stated: “Friday’s Cheltenham Gold Cup-winning Inothewayurthinkin is clearly the best handicapped horse in the Aintree Grand National but connections will be in no hurry to confirm his participation in the big race next month.
"Saturday’s Midland Grand National saw an emphatic win by Mr Vango, who made virtually all the running to defy top weight of 12 stone. He’s one to consider at our 25/1 with the NRNB angle, as he is very much soft ground-dependent and will only run if ground conditions suit”.
