BetStars becomes a member of the ESSA

tars, subsidiary of Amaya, has become the 25th member of ESSA, an international sports betting integrity body.

ESSA aims to detect and deter the manipulation of sporting events and the corruption of ESSA members’ betting markets with the help of over 20 sports federations and regulators including, FIFA, the IOC, the Tennis Integrity Unit, the UK Gambling Commission, the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, the Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority and the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner.

BetStars will join other operators, including Bet365, Ladbrokes Coral, Unibet and William Hill, to help the ESSA fight betting corruption in sport as well as protect consumers from sports betting fraud.
