Mr Green signs PDC Darts sponsorship deal

ne gaming operator Mr Green has announced the agreement of a deal with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in which the operator will become the title sponsor of the Players Championship Finals tournament.

The renamed ‘Mr Green Sport Players Championship Finals’ will be held in Somerset from 24-26 November and will see 64 leading darts players compete for over £460,000 in prize money, which includes a new tournament record of £100,000 for the eventual winner of the tournament.

As part of the sponsorship deal, there will be a series of promotions and price boosts visible on social media and the company's website in the run up to the tournament. The deal is Mr Green’s second major sponsorship deal in the space of two months following the tie up of a two-year sponsorship deal with Scottish Premier League champions Celtic FC.

In a statement announcing the sponsorship deal, Jesper Kärrbrink, Mr Green Ltd CEO said: "We are excited to partner with the PDC and to be hosting the ‘The Mr Green Sport Players Championship Finals’. Darts is a very popular sport for several of our key markets and we look forward to introducing Mr Green to this passionate fan base."
