ents provider Ukash has agreed a deal with online betting exchange Betfair.
As of 2 May, Betfair customers will be able to deposit into their account using Ukash vouchers.
Ukash enables customers who cannot or will not use traditional credit banking cards to buy online by exchanging cash at retail outlets for a unique 19-digit code which can be used to pay on websites or load prepaid cards and e-wallets.
Ukash boasts over 500,000 retail locations around the world, including over 50,000 in the UK.
Betfair group operations director Ian Chuter said: “Ukash offers a secure and easy method of deposit and withdrawing, supporting our wider on-going aim of making it easier for customers to transact with Betfair.”
David Hunter, Ukash CEO, added: “Betfair was the world’s first successful betting exchange, and is a company respected for its innovation and values.
“Like Ukash, they are a great British success story and this makes our cooperation even more satisfying.”
