Currently, Betfair is one of the biggest online gaming and betting operators in the UK and has a further presence in more than 100 countries worldwide. The Betting Exchange, a platform on which customers can bet against one another interactively, is responsible for the company’s growth from a start-up to a FTSE 250 company in just 10 years. Last year, Betfair launched a Sportsbook to run alongside the Exchange, to cover different sections of the sports betting market. Betfair operates under three individual units who run the Exchange, Sports and Gaming products, which each control the design, build and sale of their respective products.
