NGCB appoints new chair

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak is set to appoint Sandra Douglass Morgan as the new chair of the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

NGCB appoints new chair

Morgan will replace current Chairwoman and Republican former state Senator Becky Harris when her term ends on 27 January.

Morgan has been with the Nevada Gaming Commission since April, where she was appointed to the Nevada Athletic Commission.

Sisolak said: “Sandra Douglass Morgan will be an incredible asset to the Gaming Control Board and I am proud to be able to appoint her as chair.”

Harris has yet to confirm where she will go when she steps down from the role.

She said: “It was a privilege to serve Nevada in this capacity. I gave it my full effort, tried to leave the board better than I found it and I wish Morgan every success.”
