888 Holdings has announced the first phase of its roll-out of a new poker platform, Poker 8, available to all new customers through 888Poker.com.

Poker 8 has been developed off the back of customer feedback and 888’s ongoing research.

Upgrades have been made to 888Poker tables for all new desktop players with enhanced graphics and a new design, while further upgrades will be made in the coming months.

Guy Cohen, 888 Holdings Senior Vice President of B2C, said: "We’re thrilled with the initial roll-out of our Poker 8 platform, which includes a number of exciting and innovative new features to make the 888Poker experience even more enjoyable.

"Over the coming months, all players will benefit from additional upgrades and improvements to our next generation poker platform."

888 CEO Itai Pazner hinted at enhancements to the operator’s existing platforms in an exclusive interview with Gambling Insider in February, which you can read here.
