Thailand police officers have seized a grand total of 159 illegal slot machines from two houses in the Sadao district.

arrested

Two men were arrested and brought in for questioning. The officers found 159 horseracing slot machines, as well as other gambling machine parts during their raid.

The police were tipped off about the slot machines, which were believed to have been smuggled in from the Ban Dan Nok border.

They were stored in the two properties, presumably before being shipped on to other surrounding areas within Thailand.

Suraporn Sarikbut, 63, and Somporn Nuengtaeng, 45, were the caretakers of the two properties and have been detained.
