1xBet granted Nigerian national license

The National Lottery Regulatory Commission in Nigeria has granted 1xBet a national license that runs until 2024.

1xBet

The license means 1xBet will continue to work closely with partners in Nigeria and is another commitment 1xBet takes towards the Nigerian market.

The Nigerian market is no stranger to 1xBet, which in 2018 agreed a partnership with the Nigeria Football Federation, the Nigeria national football team and the Nigerian Premier League.

The company is also the official partner of the African Confederation of Football and has worked with football clubs such as Barcelona.

Ghana, Senegal, Uganda, DR Congo, Cameroon, Zambia and Burundi are other African countries where 1xBet is licensed and delivering its products.

Last year was a controversial year for the company; in 2019, the operator’s partnership with English Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur was terminated amid an investigation into 1xBet’s global activities.

At the time of writing, 1xBet’s website is still unavailable in the UK.
