GGPoker hosts Road to Vegas tournaments ahead of WSOP Main Event
By Gambling Insider

The $10,000 Main Event in Las Vegas is the pinnacle of every year’s poker calendar and in the months leading up to it, GGPoker will host a series of online tournaments, giving international players a chance to participate in July’s big game.

WSOP 2022 satellite tournaments are already running at GGPoker, it said, with buy-ins starting from $1. Alongside entry to the Main Event, players who win these satellite tournaments will see their flight and accommodation covered, and will receive other rewards as well.

Prize packages include a seven-night stay at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, $1,200 for travel expenses, entry to a GGPoker Qualifier Last Longer promotion, access to the GGPoker Platinum Lounge and GGPoker-branded merchandise and gifts. According to the company, there are “dozens of WSOP Main Event packages to be won each week.”

Professional poker player and GGPoker Global Ambassador Daniel Negreanu commented: “I’ll be playing the WSOP Main Event again this year, and I hope to be joined by hundreds of fellow GGPoker players from every corner of the planet.

“It’s every poker player’s dream to win the biggest tournament there is, there’s no other poker experience like playing the Main Event.”

In other news, GGPoker recently partnered with WSOP to launch an online poker room in Ontario, a venture backed by WSOP’s parent company, Caesars Entertainment.
