By Gambling Insider

The company generated SEK 6.3m ($622,338) in second quarter GGR, up from SEK 1.5m on a year-over-year basis and contributing to positive EBITDA.

As a result of its triple-digit revenue growth, Fantasma’s EBITDA for Q2 totalled SEK 1.1m, up from a SEK 1m loss last year.

An increase in total gaming turnover was cited as a “main driver of growth.” This amounted to SEK 1.4bn, up from SEK 655m for a 120% rise. Net sales, meanwhile, increased by 396% to SEK 7.5m from SEK 1.5m.

The quarter, which Fantasma called “busy,” saw Founder Fredrik Johansson reprise the role of CEO. The company also entered the US during Q2.

Johansson commented: “What a quarter it has been for Fantasma Games. We have driven growth across all KPIs which is a testament to the popularity and performance of our games in regulated markets around the world.

“This growth has come from continuing to deliver slots that take the experience to the next level, but also through entering new markets and signing exclusivity agreements with power players in our core jurisdictions.”

Fantasma’s GGR for Q2 brings its half-year total to SEK 14.3m, an increase of 450% from SEK 2.6m. H1 net sales, meanwhile, have risen by 373% on a year-over-year basis.

“This is a fantastic start to a year that has great potential, and I and the rest of the team look forward to an equally successful six months ahead,” Johansson added.
