Andreas Kaufmann appointed Gamomat Distribution Managing Director
By Peter Lynch

The industry veteran brings extensive online casino experience to Gamomat from both the supplier and operator side as a founder and an iGaming executive. The slot game developer noted that Kaufmann also has a “decorated Europe-centric entrepreneurial background”.

Gamomat added that Kaufmann has had success with the incorporation and in-house development of almost all external software and service elements due to his previous role as CEO of an online casino group.

“The business is excellently positioned to continue building on its impressive growth and Andi’s appointment adds further momentum to our strategic goals,” said Gamomat Founder Dietmar Hermjohannes. “Andi’s operator and supplier side experience will play a vital role in realising Gamomat’s vision.”

The group noted that its new Managing Director will aim to strengthen its extensive portfolio of partnerships, along with delivering on its progressive growth strategy.

Kaufmann commented: “It’s a proud moment to join Gamomat Distribution’s outstanding team to help accelerate the company’s growth in key regulated markets. My responsibility will be expanding the reach of Gamomat’s exceptional games portfolio across the gaming landscape.”

German-based online game developer Gamomat currently has a library of over 150 published online slots for real money and social casino verticals, with titles available in more than 35 countries and 27 languages.

Last week, Germany’s federal gambling regulator Gemeinsame Glücksspielbehörde der Länder (GGL) ordered more internet service providers (ISPs) to block Lottoland Group websites.

In July, the GGL initiated two administrative proceedings to block access to Lottoland’s offer, which it has deemed illegal. Three more ISPs have now been asked to similarly prevent access as the authority “steps up the fight”.
