Westgate Resorts offers US military free Orlando vacation
By Matthew Nicholson

Active service members can sign up to receive the offer through the Westgate Resorts Mobile App and complete the military appreciation form – which operates on a first-come, first-serve basis.

David Siegel, Founder, President and CEO of Westgate Resorts, commented on the offer: "It is our honour to welcome and pamper thousands of the most deserving American heroes for a weekend filled with great music, beautiful weather and patriotism. Having served in the military myself, I know the importance of quality family time for those who are actively serving or who have recently served our country."

This will mark the 11th year that Westgate Resorts has given military personnel free vacations at its resorts, which have now been claimed by over 26,000 servicemen and women.

The weekend will feature family activities, including the annual 5km run and free admission to the water park. Furthermore, invited military families will also have access to two private outdoor concerts featuring Nashville favourite the Chris Weaver Band and Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino's Soul of Motown.

Meanwhile, EV Mobility and Westgate Las Vegas signed a new agreement recently – which will see the electric car company provide electric vehicles for the guests of the hotel on a timeshare basis.

EV Mobility CEO Ramy El-Batrawi said: "We are excited to partner with Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino as the first hotel in their portfolio offering transportation to guests as part of the experience. We expect high utilisation from timeshare owners."
