New Jersey casinos report flat growth for November 2022

This marked a slight increase of 0.3% when compared to the $439.6m reported for the same period in 2021.

Casino win for the nine casino hotel properties was $214.6m for November, reflecting a 4% increase year-on-year.

Year-to-date casino win, according to the report, was $2.57bn, reflecting annual growth of 10%.

Meanwhile, the internet gaming win reported by casinos and their partners was $146.2m, reflecting growth of 24% compared to $118m in 2021.

The year-to-date period for internet gaming win was $1.51bn, a growth of 23% compared to $1.23bn in November 2021.
 
Sports betting gross revenue reported by casinos, racetracks and their partners was $80.4m for November 2022, which reflects a 30% decrease when compared to $114.8m in the prior period. This tally was $675.3m for the year-to-date, an 11% decline when compared to $756.7m in 2021.

As already mentioned, total gaming revenue reported was $441.1m for November, reflecting a 0.3% yearly rise. For the year-to-date, total gaming revenue was $4.76bn, reflecting a 10% increase.

Last month, licensed gambling operators paid a total of $45.8m tax, a slight increase month-over-month compared to the result from October when taxes were at $45.5m.

The DGE’s latest result reveals that year-to-date taxes hit $478.7m.
