Amelco expands operations into Hungary
By Gambling Insider

This move aims to grow the company's presence in Europe, with the tech hub in Pécs serving as its base for Central European operations. This office expands upon Amelco's existing CEE development office in Warsaw, Poland.

Amelco's Pécs location will serve a dual purpose by attracting local developer talent and acting as a centre for training its tech teams across global locations.

Amelco's expansion into Hungary has elicited enthusiasm from Amber Walton, Business Development at Amelco, who remarked, "As Amelco continues to grow from strength to strength across multiple regions, territories and the US, we are always on the lookout for opportunities to broaden our teams and skill sets."

She further emphasised the significance of this new location, stating: "By opening our latest location, we're set to create an additional hub to add to our global portfolio of tech centers. The Hungarian team consistently plays a crucial part within the delivery side of Amelco's most successful customer-facing projects, and we're very impressed with the pivotal role they have played so far."

Looking ahead, Walton disclosed: "Over the next 12 months, we plan to hire across a myriad of roles and experience levels in order to drive and sustain a well-balanced center of excellence."

In addition to its expansion efforts, Amelco has forged partnerships to increase its offerings. The company joined forces with B2B technology supplier Simplebet to provide an extended betting offering for its operators across all US sports.

Amelco also received a Gaming Related Supplier license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), enabling it to operate in Ontario's iGaming and sports betting market. Moreover, Amelco embarked on a strategic partnership with LulaBet, extending its reach into the dynamic South African market.
