In a statement accompanying its financial results, Konami said: "The gaming market is continuing to see growth with the worldwide development and opening of new casino facilities and integrated resorts which include casinos.

"Measures to revitalise the industry were implemented mainly targeting young people, including the introduction of slot machines designed to reflect players’ skill levels, which allow them to increase their chances at winning, in addition to esports tournaments."

Konami will be launching its KX 43 product at ICE London 2019. Gambling Insider spoke exclusively to Steve Walther, Senior Director, Marketing & Product Management, about the launch.
