EveryMatrix CEO: Our UK white label business is unsalvageable
By Matthew Enderby

The Gambling Commission suspended EveryMatrix’s license on 6 September, after an examination into the company’s customer interaction framework.

Operating in the UK’s B2C gaming market since 2014, EveryMatrix has said it now regards its white label business as "irreparably damaged," despite attempts to prove its ability to operate in a safe, responsible and compliant manner.

The company partnered with BeBettor, a compliance start-up, following the suspension of its license; EveryMatrix hoped this agreement would help drive an industry-wide push for better affordability checks for UK players.

EveryMatrix said its B2B software provision license for remote gambling software remains active and it will continue to offer gaming software to UK operators.

Ebbe Groes, EveryMatrix CEO, said: "We fully respect the Gambling Commission’s decision of suspending our license and we acknowledge its wish for a substantially changed way of operating white label businesses in the future.

"We regret the impact this suspension has had on our loyal players, on our brands and on our long-standing white label partners in UK, but this business has by now become unsalvageable."
