Unibet Group integrates Sweden’s BankID
The European sports betting operator Unibet Group PLC is the first online gambling operator to integrate bank ID in Sweden. The Unibet and Maria brands will be the first to be integrated with Sweden’s BankID.
BankID is the leading electronic identification system in Sweden with 6.5 million users. BankID ultimately allows operators to quickly and effectively authenticate processes for its customers. Unibet has integrated BankID in order to improve its safety and security measures for the Swedish market.
