Pennsylvania slot revenue up 2%
According to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, slot machines at Pennsylvania’s 12 casinos produced approx $181.3m in revenue in November, an increase of almost $2m from the same period of a year ago, according to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
The latest figures show that casino revenue was up 1.1%, in comparison to the $179m in gross terminal revenue produced a year prior.
At The Meadows Casino in North Strabane Township, slots revenue fell 5.04% to $16m, Pittsburgh’s Rivers Casino saw a 5.92% increase to $21m, whilst Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin in Farmington dropped 2.63% to $2.1m in November.
Considering the positive figures, the average number of slot machines operating in casinos during the month of November actually dropped from 26,406 in 2016, to 25,827.
Furthermore, the total amount made in tax revenue during November was approximately $89m.
