Melco Resorts reports small revenue increase for Q1

Melco Resorts & Entertainment reported a 4% year-on-year revenue rise to $1.36bn for Q1, while operating income decreased 10% to $188m.

Adjusted property EBITDA saw a small rise to $406.8m in Q1, up from $401.8m.

The year-on-year increase in adjusted EBITDA was down to a result of better performances in the rolling chip and mass market table games segments.

The rolling chip volume did drop  8% year-on-year however, and the rolling chip win rate rose from 3% to 3.4%.

Net income attributable to Melco for Q1 was $117.4m, dropping 33% year-on-year from $156.6m.

The Altira Macau casino generated adjusted EBITDA of $15.3m in Q1, down 18%.
