Kiron to become first virtual supplier in Colombia with Betplay deal
Kiron Interactive has become the first virtual sports supplier to launch in the regulated Latin American market after going live in Colombia.
The supplier’s partnership with Colombia’s largest operator Betplay, the online arm of Corredor Empresarial, will give the operator’s players access to Kiron’s virtual football, horseracing, motor racing, table tennis and racing roulette games, among others.
Kiron’s BetMan Online RGS has been integrated by the operator, providing it with a range of high-frequency betting markets across multiple virtual sports events.
It’s the first time players in Colombia will be able to play and access virtual content, and further expands Kiron’s offering in Latin America.

Virtual sports has seen a significant growth in recent times, with Golden Race CEO Marin Wachter telling AffiliateCon Virtually Live last month that, in terms of average players, online virtual sports has increased by 206% as a result of COVID-19.
