Having previously worked in key executive positions at the Toll Group and Specsavers in Australia, the new CIO of PointsBet, Hoskings, will oversee the company’s IT strategies and further optimise its position in the industry.

“I’m delighted to welcome Mary-Beth to PointsBet as CIO, with her strong background in information systems and technologies,” said Singh.

“Mary-Beth will manage the global PointsBet infrastructure and lead a very talented team who follows industry best practices in operating our systems efficiently with high reliability and security,” he added.

Hosking commented on her new position, saying: “As an IT leader, motivated by innovation and building high performing teams, I am excited to be joining the team at PointsBet.

“Working with a global organisation with an impressive growth strategy, leading-edge technology and a team of outstanding IT professionals is a dream come true.”

This is not the only announcement made from PointsBet this month. Due to an exclusive partnership agreement with Colonia Downs Group, PointsBet was awarded a temporary supplier licence to offer sports wagering in Virginia.

Another agreement from the online bookmaker (and exclusive partner of NBC Sports) was a signed multi-year sports betting partnership with Sportstradar, aiming to incorporate Sportradar’s pre-match live betting services. These services include pre-match odds suggestions, live data and trading tools including content solutions, live scores and live match trackers.
