JeffBet.com, an online casino platform, has launched the progressive jackpot slot game Mega Moohlah on its website.

Founded in 2022 by Progress Play, JeffBet.com is licenced by the Gambling Commission and offers a wide range of sports betting services and table games.

As well as casino games such as slots, blackjack and roulette, JeffBet.com also offers live dealer games and esports betting alongside traditional sports betting services.

A spokesperson from JeffBet.com said: “We are delighted to offer such a prestigious progressive jackpot game to your loyal players.

“The addition of Mega Moolah further enhances our portfolio of progressive jackpot games.”

The Mega Moolah game is developed by Microgaming, a casino software and games technology developer based on the Isle of Man.

The team at Microgaming released Mega Moolah in 2006 as its third major slot release, after Lara Croft: Tomb Raider™ in 2004 and the customisable online slot game, MySlot, in 2005.

On 24 June 2018, the Mega Moolah progressive jackpot was triggered for a record amount of £13.2m ($20m at the time of winning).

However, this was beaten on 30 April 2021, when it hit a new record amount of €19.4m ($21.2m) by a player in a Belgian casino.

This means Microgaming’s Mega Moolah has held multiple world records for the world’s largest payout on online slot machines.

Since its initial release, Microgaming has reported that it has paid out over €1.5bn in progressive jackpot wins.

In other online casino news, MGM Resorts has announced it will acquire Push Gaming through its subsidiary, LeoVegas.
