Kentucky sports betting: BetMGM pre-registration opens

BetMGM has a new market access agreement with Revolutionary Racing Kentucky, which allows BetMGM to bring its online and retail sports platform to the state of Kentucky, when legalised sports betting launches there in late September.

Retail sports wagering will be legalised in the state on 7 September this year, followed by the legalisation of mobile sports wagering on 28 September.

BetMGM pre-registration is now open to residents of Kentucky.

Once you complete your account registration and verification, BetMGM will give you $100 in bonus bets (no deposit required), as part of its launch promotion.

Bonus bets can be used the first day the BetMGM Sportsbook is live in Kentucky. The pre-registration promotional offer will be available for a limited time.

Additionally, BetMGM and Revolutionary Racing Kentucky will open a retail BetMGM Sportsbook at Sandy’s Racing & Gaming. The 5,200-square-foot retail space is set to open this autumn.

Furthermore, Churchill Downs Interactive is going to open six new retail sportsbooks across Kentucky in September after gaining temporary licensing by the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission (KHRC).

CDI’s latest retail sportsbook locations will open at Churchill Downs Racetrack, Derby City Gaming & Hotel, Turfway Park Racing & Gaming, Newport Racing & Gaming, Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel in and Ellis Park Racing & Gaming.

Eight mobile operators and nine racetracks receive temporary sports wagering licences from The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission (KHRC) for September’s retail and mobile launches.
