Gamban earns platinum accreditation from Investors in People
Investors in People has granted Gamban, a Southampton-based online gambling device blocking software, platinum accreditation as part of its “We Invest in People” scheme.
This recognition signifies the highest level of achievement within the accreditation, and is awarded to companies that demonstrate the implementation of policies and practices that help support individuals – both from the very top of the business down to the bottom.
Despite being a small company, Gamban’s presence in the industry has spread far, with its gambling-blocking software being rolled out in Ohio towards the end of 2023.
Beyond its workspace inclusivity, part of the reason Gamban was granted the award was due to its adaptability. In recent years, Gamban has made efforts to support the lifestyle changes of employees, allowing them to work overseas and promoting autonomous and flexible working arrangements where possible.
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Gamban. Platinum accreditation on We Invest in People is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places Gamban in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
Commenting on the award, Jack Symons, CEO of Gamban, said: “As directors in a mission-driven organisation, we are delighted to accept the platinum accreditation.
“Gamban exists for our users, but given we are a commercial organisation we also have to ensure there are standards in place that reflect our responsibilities to our staff and to society. Along with being designated a B-Corp, the We Invest in People platinum award validates our efforts.”
