Evoke acquires Winner.ro
The Widerström effect continues to take shape – and shares are up just under 10% this week, 2% for the day.
Operator Evoke, which operated brands such as William Hill, 888 and Mr Green, has acquired New Gambling Solutions S.R.L, the operator of Romania’s Winner.ro.
The acquisition will see Evoke injecting its Romania business plus a cash consideration of €10m ($11.12m) for 51% share in the Romanian company. This will bring together 888.ro with Winner to form a new combined business.
Romania will become evoke’s fifth core Market, joining the UK, Italy, Spain and Denmark.
