FanDuel expands public policy team with two senior hires
FanDuel Group has announced the appointment of two seasoned public affairs professionals to strengthen its policy and government relations capabilities.

FanDuel Group has announced the appointment of two senior executives to strengthen its public policy capabilities, bringing decades of government experience to the online gaming company as it navigates regulatory development across North America.
Shailagh Murray joins as Senior Vice President of Public Affairs, bringing with her decades of experience across journalism, public policy and strategic communications.
Murray previously served as Executive Vice President of Public Affairs at Columbia University, following six years at the highest levels of US Government, including as Senior Advisor to President Obama and Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director to then-Vice President Joe Biden.
Additionally, Jonathan Nabavi has been named Vice President of Federal Affairs. He moves to FanDuel from the National Football League (NFL), where he managed the league’s public policy and legislative agenda, including advising on its sports betting strategy.
Nabavi’s experience in Washington includes roles as Majority Counsel for the Senate Judiciary Committee under Chairman Chuck Grassley and as Counsel for the House Oversight Committee, in addition to senior advisory positions for multiple members of Congress.
