Jesper Svensson is a gambling executive with decades of experience in marketing and CRM, who joined the Betsson Group as Managing Director in 2013 and later became CEO in 2017. Under his stewardship, Betsson hosted its first Diversity & Inclusion conference in 2022 and has continued its successful expansion into Latin America.






After becoming CEO, Svensson led Betsson to strong growth, forming a dynamic partnership with casino game supplier Octoplay in late 2022. The company then launched a Mexico-based entity, expanding its presence across Latin America.
In the same year, Betsson was named as the exclusive sportsbook partner of the CONMEBOL Copa America Femenina 2022 tournament.
In mid-2025, Betsson announced a three-year deal to become the main partner of Belgian Pro League side Club Brugge.

Jesper Svensson began his career in the industry when he was appointed Ladbrokes’ Sports CRM for the Nordics before a three-year spell with Adsdotcom (InterCasino/InterPoker), where he served as Marketing Manager and Head of Player Development.
In 2010, Jesper became Casino Marketing Manager for Bodog Nation, based in London, before becoming Head of Marketing & CRM in the Philippines from May 2012 to August 2013.
His association with Betsson began in 2013, serving as Managing Director of Betsson Malta, and he eventually progressed through various executive roles to become Acting CEO in September 2017, before taking the role full-time in December 2017.
