MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

Under Liberman's leadership, DraftKings has become a notable business in the online sports betting industry. In his twelve years at the company he has served in a variety of C-Suite positions including CTO and CMO, taking on the position of President of Global Product and Technology in January 2020.

DraftKings has developed from a fantasy sports platform running from Liberman’s house to a platform with over two million monthly users. This, in part, can be equated to the platform's user-friendly interface and range of features, plus its frequent collaborations with major sporting leagues.

DraftKings has established strategic partnerships with many major sports leagues, becoming the official daily fantasy sports partner for the NFL, NHL, PGA TOUR and UFC. In addition, an official daily fantasy partner of NASCAR, an official sports betting partner of the NBA and an authorized gaming operator of MLB.

EMPLOYMENT

Before co-founding DraftKings, Liberman worked in a variety of tech positions. His first job of note was as an Applications Engineer with Analog Devices, working with the company from May 2003 to November 2005.

Following this Liberman spent over three and a half years with VistaPrint, starting as a Marketing Research Analyst before moving up to a Senior Site Analyst and finally an Associate Manager, Site Analytics. After this, his position shifted to that of Manager of Web Analytics, before taking on the role of Marketing Segment Manager. After four separate role changes and over three years, Liberman left the company in 2009.

An eight-month role as a Director of Data, Research and Analytics for Ando Media followed, with another two years at VistaPrint following as Senior Manager Strategy & Analytic, from February 2010 to February 2012.

This decade of insight into technology and business operations set Liberman up with several skills which he would transfer over to his next role. As in January 2012, Liberman co-founded DraftKings.

From there, Liberman held an assortment of C-Suite roles, including CTO, CMO and CCO, the latter of which he received in January 2015. In 2020 his position changed again to President of Global Product and Technology, which is a position he still holds today.

PRODUCTS LAUNCHED

Liberman, alongside Jason Robins and Matt Kalish, founded DraftKings in 2012. Running out of Liberman’s house, it offered one-on-one baseball competitions. A year later the product was picked up by Major League Baseball who invested in the product, setting DraftKings up for continued revenue and customer growth.

By 2015 DraftKings was the official daily fantasy sports partner for both the NHL and MLB. By 2020 DraftKings was a publically traded company and earned millions quarterly. In Q3 2023, DraftKings reported revenue of $790m.
