PrizePicks Tabs Marshawn Lynch, Adam Devine for NFL Playoffs Commercial
Former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, along with comedian and actor Adam DeVine, are teaming up for a new commercial campaign with Atlanta-based PrizePicks during the NFL Playoffs.
The campaign, developed with Austin, Texas-based advertising agency Preacher, features Lynch and Devine taking aim at the number of ads and commercials people have seen and been bombarded with during the NFL regular season.
Walking into a studio set surrounded by previous football themes that have been shown, Lynch and DeVine want you to focus now on the NFL Playoffs and concentrate on getting it right with your picks, blocking out all the outside noise so you can focus on getting it right.
Both focused on PrizePicks’ Daily Fantasy Sports offering Player Picks and its all-new prediction markets offering Team Picks, all on one app.
On the prediction markets side, Team Picks is currently live in 30 states and Washington, D.C.; and, Culture Picks, which lets customers predict outcomes on trending cultural and entertainment events, is currently live in 48 states and Washington, D.C.
“By this point in the season, sports fans have seen just about every gimmick imaginable,” said Mike Quigley, Chief Marketing Officer at PrizePicks, in a news release. “This spot is about cutting through that clutter, having a little fun with the industry, and keeping the focus on what our players really care about during the playoffs.”
The NFL Divisional Playoffs continue this weekend with two games on Saturday, Jan. 17 (Buffalo Bills at Denver Broncos, 4:30 p.m., San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks, 8 p.m.) and two games on Sunday, Jan. 18 (Houston Texans at New England Patriots, 3 p.m., Los Angeles Rams at Chicago Bears, 6:30 p.m.).
