Bingoal signs up as IBIA’s latest member
Bingoal has become the latest operator to join the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).
The Belgian-based retail and online gambling operator will incorporate its operations with IBIA’s global betting integrity monitoring and alert system, along with sharing information on suspicious betting activity with fellow IBIA members.
Bingoal is the fifth new member to join the sports betting integrity body in 2020, which includes DraftKings and Football Index signing up last month.
Bingoal CEO Joeri Impens said: “As a socially responsible business, Bingoal recognises that maintaining the integrity of our sportsbook product is an essential pillar of our commitment towards protecting our customers and the sporting events on which we offer markets.”
IBIA CEO Khalid Ali, added: “Bingoal is a very welcome addition to IBIA’s monitoring and alert platform and increases the association’s global regulated market oversight.
“It is very pleasing that responsible operators such as Bingoal continue to recognise the importance of integrity and see IBIA as their preferred partner.”
Last week, the IBIA announced a 52% year-on-year rise in suspicious sports betting alerts for Q3 2020, with a total of 76 alerts reported for the quarter. Football and tennis were the highest offending sports with 25 reports each.
