Genting Casinos UK awarded GamCare’s Safer Gambling Standard for second time
Genting Casinos UK has been awarded the highest rating of GamCare’s Safer Gambling Standard, which represents a social responsibility quality standard for the gambling industry in the UK.
Genting Casinos received the standard at advanced level 3; this represents the highest level achievable, said to prove the operator’s continued commitment to creating a safer gambling environment for its users.
GamCare’s description of advanced level 3 is “a business that has adopted a wide range of safer gambling measures that go beyond the social responsibility provisions of their gambling licence”.
Genting currently is the only UK land-based casino to achieve this award, yet it actually represents a renewal of the accreditation, this being the second consecutive time the operator has been awarded it.

The Safer Gambling Standard recognises operators that exceed the requirements set by the gambling industry Licensing Codes and Conditions of Practice (LCCP).
The Standard consists of 10 sets of assessment criteria for social responsibility (for both online and land-based gambling businesses), which are modified and updated every year.
