The property’s brand-new restaurant offers cuisine inspired by an eclectic medley of countries, including China, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines and Hawaii.
Pink Buddha, Sycuan’s new “casual dining” experience, aims to bring a bit of Asia to California with its self-described “extensive chef-crafted menu.”
Customers can now enjoy such items as “noodles, fried rice, pho, dim sum, Bahn Mi sandwiches” and “stir fry dishes.”
But what’s more likely to grab guests’ attention is the eight-foot-tall pink Buddha statue that greets them upon entry.
“Our Pink Buddha character was created as a light-hearted and happy Buddha representing prosperity and good fortune,” said DeVere Jones, Executive Director of Food and Beverage at Sycuan Casino Resort.
“The restaurant’s lively atmosphere and cheerful Buddha designs, coupled with our diverse Pan-Asian menu, makes for a really fun and appealing dining experience.”
And if food and drink were not enough, customers will soon have a chance, said Sycuan, to purchase Pink Buddha-branded merchandise, including “one-of-a-kind” mugs, t-shirts and miniature statues.
Accompanying the new restaurant is a cocktail venue, Karma Lounge at Pink Buddha. This “cosy cocktail hideaway” offers customers a place to procure Asian-inspired drinks and small bites in “a beautifully crafted atmosphere.”
Jones added: “Our talented chefs and skilled mixologists have sourced a variety of unique and international ingredients to bring to life a menu that you can really only find here at Karma Lounge.
“Both Pink Buddha and Karma Lounge bring an entirely new experience to Sycuan that I think our guests are really going to enjoy.”
