CoinPoker has unveiled its largest tournament series ever, the World Poker Masters (WPM), featuring $25 million in guaranteed prize pools, highlighted by a $2.5 million Main Event. WPM, running from May 3 to June 1, marks a significant expansion of CoinPoker’s tournament offerings, such as CoinMillions and CoinMasters events.

Ahead of the tournament, the platform will host the Warm Up Stage pre-series from April 26 to May 2 in the CoinPoker lobby. Players can earn seats in some of the biggest tournaments through daily satellites and feeders featuring micro- and low-stakes buy-ins.

$2.5M Main Event Headlines Series

The highlight of the tournament is a $2.5 million guaranteed Main Event with a $530 buy-in, the largest prize pool in the platform’s history.

The Main Event features a multi-flight structure. Day 1 flights will take place each Sunday throughout the series, followed by a final Day 1E on March 31. All surviving players will advance to Day 2 on June 1.

Players can enter multiple Day 1 flights, with only their largest stack progressing. The format aims to increase participation while maintaining competitive depth.

Supporting WPM Events

While the $2.5 million Main Event is the highlight of WPM, CoinPoker will also have several additional tournaments with a range of buy-ins:

  • $55 Mini Main Event – $500,000 guaranteed
  • $215 CoinMillion – $1,000,000 guaranteed
  • $1.5K CoinMasters Bitcoin High Roller – $1,000,000 guaranteed

High roller events within the series feature buy-ins ranging from $1.5K to $25K, targeting smaller fields with guarantees reaching up to $1m.

Introduction of $500k Leaderboards

WPM will also include two types of leaderboards:

  • $75,000 Champions Leaderboard, awarding up to $30,000 to the top performer
  • $425,000 in weekly WPM leaderboards, distributed across four scoring periods

Each leaderboard is split into high ($109+) and low ($11–$88) buy-in tiers.

Scoring is based on the number of entrants, buy-in level, and finishing positions.

New Feature: “Trophy Cabinet”

CoinPoker will also introduce a new Trophy Cabinet feature during the series, which allows users to display tournament wins and achievements on their profiles.

CoinPoker says the new feature aims to enhance player engagement by tracking performance across both the WPM and broader CoinPoker ecosystem.
