Gaming Innovation Group partners with Caravel Entertainment’s Moosh brand

Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has signed an agreement with Caravel Entertainment to use its Moosh brand.

Moosh is an online casino and sportsbook operating in Portugal, and it will now integrate GiG technology into the moosh.pt site.

GiG claims Moosh’s shift from Caravel Entertianment’s platform technology to its own will provide immediate revenue opportunities for the Portuguese operator.

The agreement between GiG and Caravel was signed for an initial three-year period, with the option of a contract extension. The deal represents a third partner in the Portuguese market for GiG.

Per the agreement, Moosh’s database will shift from Caravel Entertainment technology and merge with GiG during Q4 2022.

GiG’s investment in Moosh aligns with high growth in the Portuguese gaming market. In 2021, Portugal’s sports betting and casino industry grew 32% from the previous year. This highlights the “commercial potential” of the Portuguese market, according to GiG.

Hervé Schlosser, Managing Director of Sportnco Gaming, said: “We are very proud to sign this contract with Moosh, a new GiG customer in the demanding and attractive Portuguese market.

“Moosh.pt has great ambitions domestically and there is no doubt that we are perfectly positioned to be able to respond positively to the new dynamics of this growing Portuguese operator.”

The deal is not the only one GiG has signed recently; in May 2022, GiG inked an agreement with affiliate Rainmaker for its compliance tool GiG Comply.

This allowed Rainmaker to gain access to GiG Comply and its various features, designed to facilitate compliance with the requirements of different markets.
