The property has unveiled a range of “special perks” for current and former military personnel, including discounts of up to 50% off at Silverton restaurants.
Every Wednesday, servicemen and women will be treated to a number of benefits as part of the resort’s “Military & Veteran Salute” promotion.
This will join Silverton’s already packed week of promotional offers, including a scheme on Thursdays for healthcare employees and first responders.
The new promotion can be found on Silverton’s website, accompanied by a short message expressing the casino’s gratitude. It reads: “Thank you for your service, members of the armed forces and US veterans.”
Alongside an up to 50% off dining discount, eligible patrons will receive special happy hour rates and free “Swipe N Win” casino offers.
Silverton’s existing promotions offer similar benefits, such as the aforementioned “Healthcare Employee & First Responder Salute,” as well as the resort’s “Fab 50+ Senior Mondays.”
To benefit from Silverton’s new promotion, visitors must present a military ID, badge or discharge papers at the property’s rewards counter.
Silverton isn’t alone in offering special rewards to military personnel either. Penn National Gaming maintains a similar programme called “myheroes.”
This also comes after Silverton kicked off a $45m renovation project in August. From then until 2023, the property’s pool and hotel will be closed, though Silverton’s casino, restaurants and other amenities will remain open.
Silverton CEO Craig Cavileer called the renovation “an opportunity to creatively reinvent our entire hotel operation in Las Vegas.”
