Progressive jackpots differ from traditional jackpots, as they link all game types offered on DraftKings’ Casino app to the same increasing jackpot.
Usually, each jackpot is built within various slots, table games or video poker, and is exclusive to each individual game being played.
By creating a jackpot that can be achieved through multiple games, DraftKings says it gives its customers more opportunities to win.
The operator’s New Jersey customers can opt-in and make an additional wager on eligible jackpot games, which include blackjack, roulette and slot games like 88 Fortunes.
DraftKings says within the first two weeks of launching progressive jackpots in New Jersey, one player won $313,445.80 for the first growing jackpot.
The operator says the current jackpot is growing to a similar amount once again.

Currently only available in New Jersey, DraftKings says it plans to expand this product into other jurisdictions where its online casino is available.
