The deal will see William Hill offer betting facilities at Celtic's stadium, Celtic Park, for the next two seasons.

“William Hill has been part of the local community for decades and has recently transformed its retail shop outside Paradise.”

Celtic competes in the Scottish Premiership, with the Glasgow-based club currently sitting top of the table. The club is also competing in this season’s Champions League, playing in a group alongside Real Madrid, RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Earlier today, Australian voters made their thoughts clear on gambling sponsorship in sport. According to a survey conducted by Resolve Strategic, banning gambling companies from sponsoring professional sports is backed by 62% of voters.
Only 27% of those voters want to ban coal, oil, and gas companies from sports sponsorship.
