NBC Sports Philadelphia has partnered with PointsBet to deliver BetCast, a series of sports betting presentations covering the Philadelphia 76ers this NBA season.

The presentations will begin on Friday 2 December when the 76ers play the Grizzlies. It builds upon the collaboration of NBC and PointsBet’s dual-market coverage of the 76ers vs Chicago Bulls on 7 March 2022.

Other 76ers games in which BetCast presentations are expected to feature include the game against the Detroit Pistons on 21 December and the game against Orlando Magic on 30 January.

BetCast coverage delivers on-screen live odds data powered by PointsBet, including spread, over/under and moving money lines – as well as future odds and player props.

Coverage will also include alternate announcers, who will provide sports betting commentary and analysis.

BetCast’s debut will feature NBC Sports Philadelphia host Michael Barkann, 76ers analyst Jim Lynam and lead betting analyst for NBC Sports Jay Croucher.

During a presentation, viewers of BetCast can download the PointsBet app and select ‘Live Same Game Parlay’ to place bets while tracking odds, player performance and team stats in real time.

They will also have access to the operator’s Lightning Bets, which include markets such as ‘Team to Score Next Point’ and ‘Next Minute Both Teams To Score.’

In October, PointsBet enabled its Lightning Bets homepage feature, with this form of betting its most popular live market.

In the same month, the operator unveiled its new content hub, PointsBet+. The hub features clips directly focused on betting events and provides access to individual feeds.
