Betfred USA Sports partners with US football club Loudoun United

The highest-level professional football franchise in Loudoun County, Virginia, LUFC plays in the United Soccer League (USL) Championship, and is the direct affiliate of Major League Soccer (MLS) club D.C. United.

The agreement comes in preparation of the Betfred Sportsbook mobile launch in the US state. It includes the addition of the Betfred logo back-of-jersey sponsor for the club’s home and away kits, beginning with the 2023 USL Championship Season. Additional brand integrations are planned for the upcoming campaign.

“Betfred has a long history of successful sponsorships of soccer clubs in the UK, and we couldn’t be more excited to enter into our first partnership in the US with Loudoun United,” said Betfred USA Sports COO Bryan Bennet.

“The club has built a solid foundation over the last four years, and we look forward to a long partnership to build the Loudoun United fanbase and Betfred Sportsbook in Virginia over the coming years.”

The Betfred Sportsbook mobile betting product is expected to be formally launched in Virginia in early 2023. Betfred is currently operating in eight US states including Virginia, with upcoming launches in Maryland, Ohio and Nevada set to arrive shortly, pending regulatory approval.
