The aim here is to further strengthen Pinnacle’s esports solution and ensure the continuation of the CS:GO Pinnacle Cup Series.

The companies are looking to expand their scope by introducing betting options for Valorant, the latest PC game in the esports industry.

Through Grid's exclusive partnership with Riot Games about Valorant data, the game data platform will be able to provide Pinnacle B2B solutions with data assets that will allow for the introduction of advanced betting on Valorant.

Paris Smith, Pinnacle CEO, said: “For the last four years, the shared vision of the advanced betting on esports between Pinnacle and Grid has been solidifying the foundation on which we have managed to build together a unique value proposition for the esports fans.

“We are excited to enter the fifth year of our collaboration and continue pioneering the esports betting solutions."

Mikael Westerling, Chief Sales Officer at Grid, said: “The continuous collaboration between Grid and Pinnacle is proof of our aligned vision for the innovative and entertaining esports betting scene. We are looking forward to entering this next stage of our partnership.”

Pinnacle and Grid Esports collaborated in 2019 and have since produced three iterations of Pinnacle's CS:GO competition, Pinnacle Cup, including the biggest event in the partnership's history, a LAN tournament, the Pinnacle Cup Championship in Lund, Sweden.   In September, Pinnacle was awarded a licence for the regulated Ontario market, despite its history as an offshore sportsbook.
